Meg Pomerantz is an American College of Sports Medicine certified Health Fitness Specialist and a Cancer Exercise Trainer. Meg earned her Masters Degree in Exercise and Sport Science at UNC-Chapel Hill, and has over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry. She began teaching group exercise classes at NC State University, and later served as the Aquatics Director and Director of the Lifetime Fitness Program at UNC-Chapel Hill. Meg has taught and coached various age groups from youth sports to adult novice running and swimming programs. Meg began swimming competitively at age 10 and later competed at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va. She is an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. On a personal side, she has competed in dozens of triathlons and road races. Meg enjoys cycle touring with her husband, most recently riding through the hills of Tuscany. Her longest trip was a cross county trip from Seattle, WA to Rehoboth Beach, DE.
